Role: Construction Manager – Mechanical / Civil (with MEP Experience)

Experience: 20+ Years

Location: Vadodara, Noida, Gurugram, Guwahati

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical or Civil Engineering

Industry Preference: FMCG / Pharma / Beverages / Food / Chemicals

(Candidates from Solar, Building, Railways, Metro, or IT Parks will not be considered.)

Role Overview:

The Construction Manager will lead end-to-end industrial plant construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, cost, and schedule parameters. The role demands hands-on experience managing MEP systems and coordinating multidisciplinary teams in large-scale industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Execution: Oversee all on-site construction activities ensuring completion within budget, quality, and timeline goals.
• Industrial Expertise: Manage projects related to manufacturing plants in FMCG, Pharma, Beverages, or Chemical sectors.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce adherence to construction and safety standards, including Covid-19 protocols.
• Costing & Estimation: Handle estimation, costing, BOQ preparation, and project cost control.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for progress reviews and issue resolution.
• MEP Coordination: Supervise installation and integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Quality Assurance: Implement construction quality management plans and ensure documentation compliance.
• Change Management: Coordinate design or scope changes with consultants and contractors.
• Progress Tracking: Manage project schedules, quantity surveys, and contractor bill verification.
• Procurement Coordination: Work with project managers for procurement planning and vendor management.
• Reporting: Submit weekly progress and construction reports to senior management.
• Team Management: Guide site teams, monitor contractor manpower, and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Value Engineering: Identify constructability and cost/time optimization opportunities.

Skills & Tools:
• MS Projects or equivalent scheduling tools
• Cost estimation and constructability studies
• Strong understanding of industrial utilities and MEP systems
• Vendor and contract management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
